More freebies and a request of sorts - 24 Nov 2007

When I opened this blog I thought I'd be posting everyday, or almost every day. Yeah, Right...
The last few weeks have proven to me that if I manage to post once a week I should be happy.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy hunting, and I love that it actually does help people, but it is very time-consuming.


Today it's another huge hunt. I had a whole week to catch up on, didn't I?


As for the request - I haven't written about it before, but it seems it has become quite a "hot issue" lately.
A lot of people download freebies. Unfortunately, not all those people stop to thank the designers.
Now think about that for a moment - if you were a designer posting a freebie online, wouldn't you at least want to get a"thank you"? keep in mind the designers have exact numbers. They know exactly how many people have downloaded their files, and they know exactly how many comments they receive. There is absolutely no comparison between the numbers.

Be kind - Drop the designers a line, saying thanks.


As for me, besides leaving individual comments, I want to thank all the designers everywhere for enriching my digital scrapbooking world.
